Home care provider Home Instead Senior Care has announced that it will open 100 positions across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The provider’s Coventry location was established by Philip Maundrill and Philip Wright Howarth. The pair has also successfully operated a Home Instead site in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The announcement came as a relief after education and training company Pearson Education said recently it is going to cut about a hundred jobs when it will close its Coventry site this Christmas.
Home Instead’s local branch is planning to hire 40 staff for its Coventry operations and an additional 60 workers in Stratford.
Mr. Wright Howarth said that elderly care in the UK has never been important with the country’s ageing population.
He added: “A knock on effect has resulted in a significant period of change and growth in social care, which is leading to a broader range of improved job opportunities in the sector.”
