I am a bubbly, patient and enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in care work. I've looked after elderly and children throughout my life but never professionally. I've provided basic care needs including but not limited to: preparing meals, taking walks, emotional and conversational support, organisation of belongings, manual labor and helping around the house. My interest piqued early this year after a neighbor informed me of the horror stories involving the mistreatment of vulnerable people. I think working with senior citizens gives great job satisfaction. I like working as part of a team, with the team objective being working towards their own independence so they can make their own choices. It is so important that they can preserve their own preferences and to encourage them to do as much as they can for themselves, such as choose what clothing to wear, what social activities to choose such as reading, art, walking as much as they can and help them where they cannot This would give me enormous satisfaction to help them enjoy their lives, reminiscences to help jog their memories, bringing in local history books and art, quizzes. Treating them with the respect they deserve, such as when they like to go to bed I have been driving 1983 and hold a full clean driving license Thank you for considering my application Yours Faithfully John Davies ...
