I am aware that this job may involve coming into contact with many different people I am able to be adaptable changing my communication style depending on whom I will be talking to. Residents with dementia can be aggressive and sometimes violent and I feel very much confident that I can have the combination of resilience, mental toughness and compassion to work effectively in a situation I will be bullied or insulted occasionally. Hi there! :-) I am a caring, committed woman, 40 years old, with a friendly, helpful and motivated personality, and I would love to become a live in carer, as I love to help people and do so a lot, but sometimes people don't like being helped if they don't ask for it, which made me feel that perhaps a career in the caring profession is where I could fulfill my desire to help.
