I am a compassion, thoughtful, kind person who after 30 years in a corporate setting would like to do a job much more meaningful. I cared for my mother as she went through her 11 year cancer journey and have seen my dad ho through several heart attacks and COPD. My children are now 20 and have left the family home to be an university. I did work as a support worker for about 9 months during a gap year at university when I worked for the Crisis Prevention Assessment and Treatment Team at the Slade Hospital in Oxford. Part of this role was helping people who lived or cane for respite breaks who had challenging behaviour. This involved bathing, personal hygiene, cooking, eating, walks and dispensing medication. I would feel privileged to work with and care for people in a similar way again. I worked alot as a live in carer with one lady who left the CPATT ward after 10 years or so to live in her own 2 bedroomed flat. I do not have a care certificate. ...

I have no qualifications in the care sector, just a lot of practical experience. As I have not been employed since 2018, due to caring for family members.
