I am a Health Care Assistant ans I got a Health and social care certificate in 2011. Since then, I have gained different work experiences both in hospital and in the private sector. I would say that my strong points as Health Care Assistant are first of all patience and empathy. I think that it is essential for a hca to have lots of empathy and compassion in order to understand on a daily basis patients feelings that may change constantly. You deal with ill and fragile people who totally rely on you. Another skill that I suppose I have is a good and open communication. Communication is important to create a link between yourself and the patient, in order to cope with every different situation where you deal with patients behaviour change. Hi, i am a very hard working individual who works well as part of a team or on my own. i have a diploma L2 in health and social care.
