Hi, I am a 53 year old gentleman who has been a support worker for over the last 22 years in a medium secure setting and later in a rehabilitation unit. I have been caring for people for most of my working life and there is nothing I would rather be doing. I would be keen to work as a live-in carer as part of a change in my career. I am currently working with elderly gentleman on a 4 bedded unit which are high dependant so similar environment as 1;1 nursing or live-in would be ideal for me.
