Job Description

To provide live-in care for a 90-year-old lady who has vascular dementia and lives with her husband. The lady's behaviour can be a little verbally challenging at times so we are looking for candidates that are used to managing this type of behaviour by providing positive behaviour support. She is mobile with a walker and has a stair lift.

The location is in the village of Shenfield, Essex and is within walking distance of lots of shops and parks. Also, Brentwood is walkable and there are lots of public transport nearby.

The live-in carer will be required to provide care for the lady only as the husband has full capacity and is fully mobile. The only time that you will be required to help both husband and wife would be at meal times when meals would be prepared for both.

Duties to include personal care, meal preparation, light housework duties, and accompanying in the local community.

Rate of pay to be discussed.
