I have worked in several capacities around care and support work. In my most recent job in Cardiff I worked in a resiential home assisting with personal care as well as aiding the elders to live as fulfilled a life as possible, using the facilities we had available such as sensory machines, pet therapy, the entertainment hired by the company and consistent verbal reassurance and a person centred approach that suits them. Prior to this role I have worked supporting vulnerable adults of numerous abilities. As well as in a coaching rolewith children aged between 8 and 12 and supporting a young boy and his mother in a project aimed to avoid the need for social work intervention.
