When living in Spain I worked for 18 months as a live in carer for an older lady who had had an accident, she had a broken shoulder and ankle. she was also having difficulty breathing due to lesions on her lung. She was during this time very vulnerable and relied on me entirely. My duties involved organising her many medications and giving daily injections. I also did the housework and took care of her 3 dogs. Other duties included taking her to and from hospital and on days she was well enough I would take her to visit her friends. I believe I have the necessary qualifications and skills to successfully fulfil your requirements. ...

I think working with senior citizens gives great job satisfaction. I like working as part of a team, with the team objective being working towards their own independence so they can make their own choices. It is so important that they can preserve their own preferences and to encourage them to do as much as they can for themselves, such as choose what clothing to wear, what social activities to choose such as reading, art, walking as much as they can and help them where they cannot This would give me enormous satisfaction to help them enjoy their lives, reminiscences to help jog their memories, bringing in local history books and art, quizzes. Treating them with the respect they deserve, such as when they like to go to bed I have been driving 1983 and hold a full clean driving license Thank you for considering my application Yours Faithfully John Davies ...
