Hello there, I have been a volunteer carer for the last year since I have been livimg in the UK. I have learnt how to deal with an elderly person who needs a lot of help with mobility, personal hygiene, taking medication, feeding. I have got experience to use sliding sheet, Sara steady, Oxford hoist as well. I have learn about incontinence care and how to prevent pressure sores if avoidable. I do my best to provide a person centred care which would make clients satisfied. I am keen on having a qualification in care, possibly nursing sometime. Thank you for your time. ...

My name is Pasang (isha) I am originally from mixed Nepal and Bhutan and lived in United Kingdom since 2002. I am currently Woking as a live in care for couple in Melbury Osmond. I have been working for my current clients since February 2016.I am hardworking, patient and very supportive carer I have been working as a carer for last 10 years.I have also done my Btec first diploma in Helath and social care and other relevant trainings which . I have never had any complains or negative feedbacks from my last employers and clients and so far I have always received a positive feedbacks from them which is a plus point.I can work on my own initiative or as a part of team and always willing to take further trainings if required for the post. My apology for not submitting my CV which is very important I lost my few important files from my computer which includes my CV too. I believe my gained experience both personal and professional throughout my career as an emergency helpline operator, massage therapist and a martial arts coach can be transferred to any care setting. Through my career I have to practice communication skills, being able to listen, gain trust and understand people. As a martial arts coach I have been able to advise on healthy diet and exercises and motivate people to change their life style. As an emergency helpline operator I had to listen to and respond fast to accidents and emergencies I was reported about. This taught me to be calm in challenging situations and find efficient solutions to occuring problems, give reassurance to those I was listening to. I have decided to work as a live in carer in order to learn more about British people, improve my language skills and being able to help and care about them. Also working as a live in carer would allow me to travel more, which I love. ...
