I am an experienced carer with overc5 years experience of working with elderly clients. I have worked as a live in Carer previously and really enjoyed the 1-1 experience. My client and her family became my surrogate family. I understand that we all have different opinions and ideas and that as a carer I have to abide by my client's wishes as much as possible, as long as it's safe to do so. I have many interests which include anything from relaxing with a good book to watching independent plays. I like to be busy in my work,and also down time. I understand that as a live in Carer that I am more than just somebody that is just in the house to do a job. It is my client's home and I have to follow their rules in their personal space.
