I am a qualified teacher and a published writer. I have 17 years experience teaching English in South Africa and Thailand. I also have 2 years experience tutoring children with severe autism and ADHD. I sometimes take care of a lady who is certified blind. I should like to be a live-in carer, initially for one month from 15 June 2018 to 14 July 2018, but from January 2019 for extended periods of up to 7 months at a time. I am a kind-hearted and caring person, very patient and organized, and can create a peaceful and structured routine. I have an empathetic, joyful nature, excellent sense of humour and love people. I am married with 3 grown children. My two sons are both deaf, so I have 22 years experience living with and caring for people with a disability. I was a single parent for 14 years while my children were growing up. This taught me the value of routine and how to organize a household and plan ahead to avoid stress for myself and my children. ...
