Hello. My name is Gladys. I'm originally from South Africa, but i have lived, studied, and worked in the United Kingdom for the past thirteen years. Throughout my career i have gained a lot of experience and understand all people are different. I am self-motivated, with an optimistic outlook and i'm told my positivity is infectious. I am very bubbly, and i find joy and laughter in simple things. I am trustworthy, reliable, and have an eye for detail. With a passion for care i have great empathy and listening skills and look to meet each individuals needs with enthusiasm. I understand cultural differences, and i respect everyone's beliefs. My great experiences in this field comes from working in many different nursing-homes around the country and as well as private-homes caring for elderly individuals suffering from dementia, stroke, alzheimers...et cetera...all the way down to elderly who just needs companionship. My cooking skills are excellent, and i also have great listening skills. I have a degree in Bachelor Of Science - Management. Also have my Health care training certificates. I have fantastic employment and character references if and when you need them... Currently placed in Leicester, and working as a Live-in carer. But, i do not mind working anywhere in the country.
