I have enjoyed au pair experience, being responsible for someone else’s life and becoming part of a family, taking care of children and helping running household . Key responsibilities were helping with my younger siblings and cousins, including one with special needs (autism) who needed more attention. I also spent time looking after my grandparents when their carer’s were unable to attend. I found being patient and listening was key to helping them as they could get frustrated having lost some of their independence. I helped them with the medicine they needed to take, meal times and sometimes assisting them with personal cleanliness, grooming and getting dressed. I bring positivity and energy to my role as an au pair enjoy running a range of activities and crafts. I am a keen and patient listening and learner which has allowed me to build great relationships with the families and children I have worked with. ...
