Presently I am a learning support teacher at a small school with students with a variety of different learning and special needs. Caring has always been a part of my adult life as i have worked on and off as domiciliary and done living caring along side other personal in order to aid them. Through this I have my manual handling and healthy and safety training awards. I took respite from caring completely to work in the teaching industry for a while however am now looking for a live in caring job again. My DBS is all still up to date and refreshed monthly through school, as well as two weekly tests for Covid-19. My current occupation also makes me applicable for sooner vaccination. I am a confident member of staff, with a large experience of rugby coaching and life skills. Hi, I am writing to you regarding live in carer opportunity. I have been working as a domiciliary carer for over two months. I am really enjoying it. It is fast paced and no day is the same. I have built a career in hospitality and have been running pubs and bars for few years. During lock down when pubs were shut I decided to do a little bit of care work to keep myself busy and help others at the same time. It didn't take long for me to realize social care is something I would like to do long term and progress within the industry. My current company is lovely and all clients are wonderful. The only down side is the hours I get. Unfortunately they can't offer full time hours which I need living in London, hence I am exploring different opportunities.
