Ive worked with the elderly for 4 years.i have an SVQ level 2 .I have experience working in both Mainstream units and the Specialised Dementia unit, Working with lots of residents with different needs such as mobility issues or sensory impairments. All my training is up to date such as my moving and assisting . In the event of an accident or emergency I am first aid trained and would act to the best of my ability ensuring to follow policies and procedures at all times. I have had Medication training and give out medication on a daily basis.Some days I have to communicate with outside agency's such as Doctors, OT's, District Nurses and CPN's which has helped me develop my communications skills.I have good written skills as I complete paperwork on a daily basis.
