I am a hardworking, enthusiastic & competent carer, and have been a care assistant for around three years. I love the work I do because I’m a very caring individual who thrives making people happier. I am self-motivated and always do the best job I can. In the first lockdown I became a self-employed after leaving my HCA job. I left working in care homes even though I loved it because I saw a lot of neglect. I was told to avoid spending time with service users in case we had Covid-19. Since becoming self-employed I’ve met some amazing people and cared for them in the right way, in their own homes, which I think is better the current climate as it allows people to keep families together. I want to pursue live in care work, because I have a lot to give and would like to do it on a more full-time basis, I’m looking to work on a one week on one week off basis if possible. I am insured, with up-to-date training records, I’m self-employed and have a driving licence and my own vehicle. ...
