I have been working as a live in carer for the last nine years. I have worked in the UK and also in Guernsey. I have worked for several people. My last job was for a gentleman in his 90's who lived alone. He suffered from dementia but he was very sociable despite having memory problems. We would go for daily walks and visit his friends. Unfortunately, he died last year. With the Covid pandemic I have not been able to work in Guernsey. I am based in northern France and I live with my husband. I have two grown up daughters who live in Lille and Paris. I am English and speak french having lived here for many years.
