Hi, My name is Maria. I am looking for a live-in carer position to assist a lovely, intelligent lady or gentleman in their daily lives in the future. The weekly rate is a minimum of £840 (no night calls). Since 2018, I have been a qualified and experienced healthcare assistant and live-in carer. I trained as a Healthcare Assistant and worked in care homes for six months, followed by six years as a live-in carer. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in providing care to individuals with various health conditions, including physical disabilities, end-of-life care, cancer, mild dementia, stroke, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, catheter care, and incontinence. I am an intelligent, kind, calm, respectful, reliable, conscientious, precise, loyal, compassionate, honest, patient, friendly, cheerful, systematic, and ambitious individual who can adapt to different situations and has good technical skills. I possess strong organizational skills, am a good listener, and have a high level of empathy. I had the privilege of being a carer for a 103-year-old gentleman for over a year. He was a minister in the Church of England, and every day we spent together was blissful and memorable. I am strong, healthy, and active. I am a UK resident with the Right to Work in the UK and am on the DBS update service. I am originally Hungarian. My English is at a good conversational level and I am constantly improving; my pronunciation is clear and easily understood. I have three written references. My goal is to help individuals maintain independence in their homes and promote physical and mental well-being by offering small services such as massages, nail care, haircuts, and make-up. I also encourage them to do simple exercises. I provide healthy, delicious meals (including cakes) while creating and maintaining a clean environment. I treat everyone with kindness, respect, and dignity while valuing diversity, protecting privacy, and respecting individual decisions. My hobbies include travelling, walking in nature, and spending time on the beach. I am also interested in reading, learning, and watching documentaries on various topics such as history, animals, buildings, cultures, business, management, health, psychology, the world, and the universe.
