Since moving to France in 2014, I have been fortunate to have gained wide ranging experience since starting my current position in April 2017 which comprises of looking after an elderly couple on a daily basis. Although this is my first job as a carer I have found that this type of work has come naturally to me. I consider myself to be caring, compassionate, trustworthy and adaptable person and have loved being of help to others. I thoroughly enjoy the work and feel able to bring sensitive light-hearted humour to difficult situations. I get great satisfaction seeing the results I can bring to the daily life of people who need companionship and assistance but want their dignity remaining intact. I have an unerring sense of responsibility and loyalty. In my previous jobs I held responsible positions and always endeavoured to be a creative and considerate member of the team. I joined a care company in April 2022 and have had several placements , looking after a dementia client and then mainly companionship & personal care positions . ...
