I'm a well-educated, and well-traveled down-to-earth Scotsman who cares deeply about other people and has a kind and compassionate spirit and outlook. As I am involved in non-paying charity and other passion projects, working one week on one week off is an ideal scenario for me. As a result, I am looking for a carer job where I can truly be of service and be a great support - empowering others (or one person in particular) to live life to the fullest. When I was at university some years back, I did spend around 6 months supporting others with complex needs in a sheltered housing project, and thoroughly loved the work. I love cooking and am fairly house-proud, and am organized and efficient. Most of all I like to be helpful and supportive. I also like to respect others' space when need be. I have an excellent understanding of London, having lived north (in Angel), south in (Streatham, Oval, and Brixton), and west (Ealing). Just like your client, I am also a night owl! ...

I have worked on various of companies as a care co-ordinator and support worker and administrator which I had carried out admin/receptionist duties . I have good and positive customer service skills and can work with people from all levels and background. I have excellent problem solving skills. I believe I have strong communication skills, this has been shown when I interact with patients, doctors, social services, NHS Emargency services and Hospitals via email, phone and face to face. a Brief introduction is so difficult as you may overlook important qualities. :) I'm an optimistic and passionate individual with an old soul and a young heart. It reflects in the music I listen to, and in the way I live and view life. Regrettably, social care was not my first calling as I've spent close to a decade specializing in IT. I am ready for change. Trusting that my new career will provide me with a sense of accomplishment and purpose. I'm currently based in South-Africa, a beautiful country with similar values and culture to the UK.
