I am Edith, I come from Hungary but i have lived in wonderful England since 2014 - and in Plymouth for four years. My background: I have three very independent adult daughters and when they no longer needed my mothering skills, I came to England, and of course they really love coming to visit me in my Plymouth flat. I have been in the field of ‘caring’ over here for eight years and indeed I am a Qualified Carer, but I also have additional skills in basic nursing, dementia care, end of life and palliative care. I am quite used to the responsibility of looking after elderly people who are poorly solo, providing home cooking, running the house, laundry etc, and indeed, just ‘being there’.
