Hi I have over 15 years experience working as a carer for over 65s in residential nursing and dementia homes.I understand and comply with safeguarding policy's and I have experience in moving handling, infection control and health & safety.
In the care home setting and in clients own homes my duties consisted of Promoting service users to be as independent as possible encouraging and maintaining mobility and having postive involvement with social activities. I assisted with personal care when needed while maintaining a person's dignity. While keeping individuals records up-to-date with personal daily activities.
