Blue Sky Enabling have an exciting job opportunity for a male live-in carer in Trowbridge.  You would be working in a person-centred way with a bright young man with cerebral palsy who lives in his own home. The rota pattern is 2 weeks on/off.  

As part of his collaborative teams, you will be supporting him to engage in the community, do shopping and go out to cafés, go to Boccia, attend music events and festivals, have fun and participate in indoor and outdoor leisure activities etc. You will support him with personal care, administration of medication, manual handling using a sara stedy, all meal planning and cooking, and will assist with feeding. You will encourage and support him to maintain a healthy diet.  You will enable him to live a full and engaged life, promoting independence and dignity. 

You will be supported to maintain training relevant to this role. 

Further information about this service user will be provided to the successful applicant at company induction.   As a requirement of this position, you must drive, and be willing to drive his motability vehicle.
