Job Description

We are a private family seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carer to support our 29-year-old son, who has a spinal cord injury.

You will work closely alongside his parents and an established team of support workers to assist with his daily routine and ensure his comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting all aspects of daily living
• Assisting with personal care
• Bowel management and catheter care
• Working proactively and flexibly as part of a supportive care team
• Ensuring our son is comfortable, safe, and well-supported throughout the day

Working Pattern

• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• Daily support hours:
• 8:00am – 11:00am
• 3:00pm – 4:00pm
• 5:30pm – 7:00pm
• 10:00pm – 11:30pm

While flexibility is required, this role offers significant downtime during the day, allowing time for rest, study, or personal interests.

Pay

• £1,260 gross per week
