Job Description

We are a private family seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carer to support our 29-year-old son, who has a spinal cord injury.

You will work closely alongside his parents and an established team of support workers to assist with his daily routine and ensure his comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting all aspects of daily living
• Assisting with personal care
• Bowel management and catheter care
• Working proactively and flexibly as part of a supportive care team
• Ensuring our son is comfortable, safe, and well-supported throughout the day

Working Pattern

• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• Daily support hours:
• 8:00am – 11:00am
• 3:00pm – 4:00pm
• 5:30pm – 7:00pm
• 10:00pm – 11:30pm

While flexibility is required, this role offers significant downtime during the day, allowing time for rest, study, or personal interests.

Pay

• £1,260 gross per week
