Job Description

We are looking for a kind and compassionate live-in carer to support an elderly lady who lives in central London in the Pimlico/Victoria area.

Mary is 93 and loves her life and her flat in Westminster, but Mary needs some reassurance and help around the house as her mobility is quite poor. 

The placement starts in mid-April with some flexibility based on the candidate's availability and will be on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off basis or 3 weeks on 1 week off.

As a Live-in Care Professional, you will be required to provide the highest quality 24-hour care.

• You will be responsible for delivering your client's personalised care plan and health goals, enabling clients to live life to the full in their own homes.

• You will manage the Client’s medical condition, meals, hygiene and ensure their safety at all times.

• You will maintain a positive relationship with your client, their family, friends and those supporting their health and well-being and be trustworthy and compassionate.

Some of your duties as a Live-in Care Professional:

• Providing companionship and supportive listening,

• Preparing meals,

• Responding to emergency situations,

• Prompting and administering medication,

• Accompanying and transporting patients to appointments and/or social events,

• Facilitating community and recreational outings,

• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
