iLarna: Care at Home That Feels like Family (ilarna.com)

iLarna are seeking a local female, highly professional, self-employed live-in carer who are looking for their next position in the Wokingham (RG40) area.

Role Details:

· Elderly female who is struggling with reduced mobility and requires support with activities such as: morning and bedtime routines; cleaning the home and household chores, like changing the bed, putting the bins out, unpacking shopping and laundry; food preparation and consumption; toileting and self-care.

· While this role is for a live-in carer to provide care 24/7, occassionally there will be weekends, where family are able to stay and provide the care themselves. On these occassions, the ask would be for the live-in carer to return home for that weekend, coming back to resume care on Monday. As a result, we are looking for carers local to the Wokingham area who are prepared to do this ad-hoc when requested.

· Location: Wokingham (RG40)

· Rate: £750 week, plus £50/week food allowance and £0.45/p mile travel allowance

· Start: TBC - approx end of June, beginning of July

· Rotation Pattern: tbc

· End: Ongoing with no defined end date at present

Requirements to be considered:

· You must have demonstrable experience working in multiple Live-In Care positions

· This role has a genuine occupational need for a Female carer, so please only apply to this position if you are female

· We require someone who lives locally to Wokingham, to allow for ease of returning home during ad-hoc weekend visits from family members

· The care receiver would like a carer who is jovial and speaks clear English, as she is hard-of-hearing

· Have knowledge of Adult Safeguarding

· Self-employed, or those open to becoming self-employed carers (support provided)

· Have the Right to Work in the UK (please note we are unable to offer sponsorship)

· Have a current active Enhanced DBS Certificate issued within the last 6 months, or if issued earlier be able to provide a valid DBS Update Service certificate number so we can perform an online status check on your certificate
