Job Description

I am looking for a female Live-in carer this will be a shared role and 3 weeks on 3 weeks off (this can be flexible and can be discussed). The position will start 15th July.

The position is to look after my father who lives near Lymington in the New Forest. My father is mentally acute and with a good sense of humour. He has restricted mobility, he worries about falling and is not confident so can only walk very slowly with a support. He also uses a wheelchair if outside. He needs assistance with washing, dressing, shopping and vegetarian meal preparation. You will need to help him organise medication and encourage him to do strengthening exercises so he can keep mobile for as long as possible. Keeping him company in the evenings and as much as you can in the day is also an important aspect. He is a keen watcher of films. There is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room for the carer.
