Job Description

Our client is an 80-year-old lady with Alzheimer’s dementia. She lives with her husband but now requires a live-in carer to support her. He does not require support. She is mobile and requires support with bathing. The carer will have breaks in the afternoon. The client may wake twice a night needing supervision to go to the toilet but this is not every night. The family are looking for a carer who can speak Gujarati/Punjabi to help and support their mother’s condition that understands her needs and to provide a cultural companion for an ongoing live-in care role.

The carer can work 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off but this can be negotiated. Duties of the role are companionship + meal prep + personal care 

Salary range – £787.50 per week plus food budget
