About the role

We're a local care company looking for a reliable, compassionate self-employed home carer to join us on a temporary basis, carrying out hourly home care visits to clients in their own homes across Waterlooville and Petersfield.

Typical visits include personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, light domestic support, companionship, and helping clients stay safe and independent at home.

What we're looking for

• Previous paid care experience (home care, live-in, domiciliary, care home or similar)

• A warm, patient and respectful manner

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle – essential

• Right to work in the UK

• Up-to-date DBS (or willing to obtain one)

• Good spoken and written English for care notes

• Happy to work on a self-employed basis

What we offer

• £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience

• Regular, local runs in Waterlooville and Petersfield

• Temporary role to start with, but a great foot in the door — for the right person, this can lead on to ongoing live-in care work with us
