Looking for a Long Term Private Nurse / Carer

 1 Daytime Nurse / Carer - Required Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 36 to 44 hours a week .  Rate will depend on qualifications and experiences.  Location is in W9 Westminster area.

Looking for a private, self-employed (with UTR number) female nurse or carer to look after an elderly lady who has Dementia middle to advanced stage for 6 days a week in a team of 3 to cover breaks and holidays.

Due to her declining cognition, she needs help with personal care routines, bathing, dressing, hydration and nutrition needs, going to appointments etc. She also needs help on general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning/tidying, laundry/ironing, beddings, cooking and eating together, going for walks, conversations and companionship etc.

Seeking a genuine reliable carer with a good understanding of dementia and how to manage the associated cognition challenges such as confusion and or delusional thinking.

Triple vaccinated and non-smoker preferable. Fluent spoken English would be desirable as the client likes to chat. Nursing background, Level 3 to Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care would be ideal.

The candidate will be calm, patient, flexible, kind, compassionate and able to understand things through the eyes of a person living with Dementia. A happy demeanour and sense of humour would be great.

Applicants must have current references DBS and the right to work in the UK. Detailed work hours and work days can be discussed.
