I have been working in care for the past 20 years in all different fields including live in looking a young man in his own home. I have done live in for around 3 years but he was moved to a care home due to change in his health condition. Im currently working with children with autism and mental health at Ruskin mill college living with the kids in their own homes and taking them to college Monday to Friday. We cook for the kids, cleaning, escorting them to and from appointments, holidays. ...

I want a permanant challenging and rewarding career in which I can develop my knowledge and skills. I have worked within a multidisciplinary team of nurses and support workers. My experience of working within residential care and nursing has given me invaluable skills such as being caring and compassionate and many more. I worked in a team of other care staff to provide the best care for residents. I am able to work under pressure as there were often emergencies at the care home, and I made sure I followed all the right protocols such as pressing the emergency bell and informing the senior and manager. In my academic studies, I have gained knowledge on the topic of healthcare, and this will benefit meas I will be working with patients in a healthcare setting. ...
