I am a qualified nurse with 17 years experience, some of this as an intensive care nurse, and 12 years as a specialist Public health nurse. After all this time in the NHS, I decided to make a change and I now work as a senior social care worker (duty manager) at care homes across Orkney in Scotland. Because of these roles, I have a wealth of experience knowledge and skills in all areas of care and understand national and local policies/ guidance across England and Scotland as I have worked across both.
