Former business owner with Everycare Rugby, I have been in care for around 18 years. I first got into care working with local Social Services, when things changed my wife and I opened Everycare Rugby in 2009. I was the trainer for the company as well as always keeping my hands on experience. I did for many years our care plans and health and safety checks, manual handling training among others I have dealt with many differing issues service users face and was an end of life champion. We sold our agency September 2023 as my wife could no longer work in the field and I wanted a change of environment. I have previously done some live in care work when staff sickness meant cover was needed. I am a very caring person with an absolute wealth of knowledge in the caring profession. I am a white British person who only really speaks English although i have looked after people who speak little English and managed but English speaking is preferable I am an older person of 60 but still fit and able to do all tasks required, have looked after both male and female service users.
