I have alot of health care experience and have worked in both the private sector and the NHS i have lived in an run a womens unit in GUIDFORD Sy. Alithought I have not lived with a single patient before. I HAVE nvq 2 3, and some of the units on 4. I have time and patients with personal care and always give choices relating to food and the dails activities. You can be assured that your family member will get the best care possible. I am a vibrant, hard worker who loves working with people and children, I have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, I am a self starter who learns easily. I have a teachable spirit. I have a qualification in teaching. I have no formal qualification in Caring except for the Allison's Introduction to Caregiving. I am a qualified teacher by profession and would like to completely divert to Caregiving or Nursing. I am one compassionate, loving and patient individual. I have experience in Social Care. I have in the past taken care of my martenal grandmother who died 4 years after her leg was amputated due to gangrene. I have since 2020 taken care of my mother who has been suffering from arthritis for 15 years until lately when she lost her mobility and was confined to a wheelchair. We battled for 3 years to get a helper / caregiver for her until I had to be the one who moves back home to bath, feed and give medication as per the doctor's orders. I have been taking care of her since mid 2020 especially since I am the only one residing in the same town as her and this was possible because I am currently self employed. I have bathed, fed and read books for her, took her for walks to the part until she left to be with the Lord on the 3rd of January 2022. I would like to be given this opportunity to give the same love and care to a needy elderly person especially since they need more love during their last days on earth. ...
