I was born and grew up in Israel, before moving to Romania at the age of 14, where I finished my education in culinary tourism. I have a younger sister and brother, who I helped to care for when growing up. I love sports, particularly football, and I used to enjoy singing. I also have an appreciating for comedy, music and travelling. Cooking is one of my passions and I spent two years as a cook in a professional kitchen, I love to cook for others and I am a happy, friendly and sociable person. In 2017 I started my first training courses in care, including shadowing and assisting several cases, since then I have continued in this field, discovering, learning and working as a caregiver. I have worked as a live-in caregiver for over 5 years, supporting individuals in their own homes, and have experience in caring for clients who need companionship but also advanced care requirements such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, cancer and end of life care. I am experienced in providing all aspects of personal care and grooming, clients who are bed bound, incontinence care, catheters, commodes, slide sheets and using hoists. I am happy to work alongside other caregivers in a client’s home, I have also covered night care. I have excellent communication standards with other health care professionals and family when I am with my client, keeping daily records accurately and reporting any changes in health. I am able to support any client with their daily life assistance, bathing, meal preparation and housekeeping, laundry and medication. I would describe myself as a good cook, having trained to be a chef, and am happy to cook for my clients. I love animals and own a cat myself and I would be very happy to care for a family pet. I have completed training courses including Moving and Handling, First Aid, Medication Administration, Health, Safety and Welfare, Food Safety and Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control, and I am to update these annually. I have an Enhanced DBS and am registered on the update service. ...
