I have been employed as a care assistant for BUPA for the past 12 months working with elderly patients who have dementia and Alzheimer's. My work was night time work involving changing/cleaning patients for bed, lifting and ensuring that all patients were well cared for and comfortable. I enjoy my job and find it very rewarding. I feel that I can now take my career further by being a live-in carer and will possibly find it more rewarding as I will be looking after one person who needs my help and care.
