I have trained about 2 years ago with Helping Hands in their training establishment in Alcester and have the training certificate for Adults vulnerable people as a Live-in-carer, I lived in with a lady 90 years of age who had dementia and mobility difficulties. I cooked, cleaned, ironed and was a good companion for a 6 week placement over christmas 2013 into January 2014. I am very friendly and adaptable, conscientious and honest, with a good sense of fun/humour plus common sense. I like being positive as it's empowering for not just myself but for whoever I am looking after and I always try to encourage that in the client also.
