My name is Georgeta Capugiu, I am romanian and now I am working in Channel Islands as a laundry assistant but before coming and working in the hotel industry I have had worked for 12 years in an elderly care home where I had to perform all functions of personal care. For instance, I had performed a variety of tasks for clients including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and ambulation, incontinence care, transferring, and feeding under the supervision of a registered nurse. I am also well versed in meal planning, serving, housekeeping, laundry and medication reminders. Besides, I am able to efficiently give companionship to keep the clients engaged in routine life. Being a honest person, I would like to mention also that unfortunately my level of English is not the best, even though I can understand more that I can express. Hello! I learnt about you from a friend of mine who is a live-in carer in London. I am 58 and I come from Moldova. In my home country I used to be a teacher of English, I worked as a teacher for 30 years. I came to England in 2014. My first job was a live-in nanny for a 7 year old girl in London. After my contract ended I went to Northampton where my husband was working and worked as a packer at Amazon. From May, 2016 till May, 2017 I worked as a care assistant in Cliftonville Care Home in Northampton. Then, from June, 2017 till August,2020 I worked as a live-in carer for a lovely couple in Shenfield, Essex, together with my husband. When our clients sadly passed away I joined Oxford Aunts and was a live-in carer for a lady in Oxford. I am in my home country, Moldova currently, but I am planning to return to England at the beginning of June.
