Manual handling, record keeping. Exercise and Physio, I have many qualifications gained in fitness and used to teach older populations. Firstly I was a medical volunteer in hospice (over 2 years) and then I’ve been working as a senior care assistant in Polish National Nursing Home since 2011. I have been looking after people who suffer from different disease like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis (SM), learning and mental disability, partial disability, addicted to alcohol, etc., different age and gender. I have very good interpersonal skills. I am empathic, reliable and hard-working person. I like working with people. I am able to work under pressure and to manage stress. I work as a Scheme Manager in Sheltered Housing, I have been in my current position since November 2004. My job role is to ensure that the residents retain their independence and sustain their lifestyle within a safe environment. Monitoring the day-to-day needs of residents Ensuring the delivery of all aspects of support management functions, including maintaining accurate records Liaising with maintenance contractors other agencies as appropriate. Prior to this I worked for 2 years with people with mental health problems, again helping them maintain their independence in a safe environment. Prior to this I worked for about 18 months as a visiting carer, providing personal care to clients in their own homes I have worked as a live in carer with Able Care. I did this for about 2 years. ...
