I'm really interested in the Live-in Carer role at Independent People. I've spent over a year caring for older folks and people with disabilities, and the most rewarding part for me has been building friendships with them and helping them stay independent for as long as possible. What drew me to Independent People is how you match Carers with clients who share similar interests. I think that creates a much more positive and supportive home environment, which is so important. I might not have years of experience with agencies, but I'm a very motivated and caring person who genuinely enjoys helping others. I'm good at keeping track of things, managing medications, whipping up meals, and of course, being a good companion. Plus, I'm a great listener and know how to build rapport with people.
