I am a trained Education Support Worker, mentor, teacher and lecturer with a vast wealth of experience spanning over two decades. I have worked in various capacities both in the public and private sectors including teaching and supporting students in various schools and colleges both in the UK and abroad. I have worked with people with multiple support needs. I worked full-time supporting students of all ages with a variety of special needs, including those with physical, cognitive and behavioural needs. I also assisted with the physiotherapy and personal needs of people with cerebral palsy and worked most successfully with a very demanding Down syndrome student. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills. My training in care and behaviour management has given me the ability to challenge offensive and unacceptable behaviour among people in appropriate ways.
