Hello - I am a mature lady (62) originating from New Zealand and have been living in the UK for over 13 years. I have performed live-in care/companion roles, though did commence my employment in the UK as a live-in housekeeper. My main duties have been caring/companionship, cleaning, cooking, shopping, driving to outings/appointments and light personal care. My previous clients have been sufferers of dementia, poor mobility and other health issues. Due to the death of my long-term client last year, I am now looking for another private (no agencies) position as a carer/companion (any area considered) for an elderly single lady with a good sense of humour, separate accommodation preferred but not necessary, nice living arrangements must be offered. Possibly care for a person with mild dementia, mobility problems or other health issues. Good salary must be offered (circa £100/day), I am preferring a full-time position or would consider a long rota arrangement, reasonable time off must be made available for breaks and/or holidays.
