I would love to work at this job worked with my gran for 5 years then had to put her in a home as I was working 40 plus then coming home to my gran looking after her feeling ng her & everything else but come to much working & looking after her I felt so bad as 3 things so asked me was I was born in this house I want to leave this I've loved all my family as you will love me & never put me in a home which I was gutted as I couldn't look after her as well as Working & couldn't get enough support unless I payed for as I was working the thing is I don't drive & that's why when I've applied for this type of job before I've had phone calls 1st question do you drive I've said no & they have said sorry you need to drive. Retired Speech and Language Therapist specialising in enabling, communication., even when speech was not possible; Diagnoses included Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability, Sensory Impairment, Autism, Head Injury, Stroke and Dementia. Sometimes my role went beyond the usual scope of Therapist, e.g. liaising with other professionals, helping with IT and finding accessible activities.
