I have worked in the caring industry for fifteen years in a variety of care settings from NHS Hospitals to nursing homes (EMI and residential) to home care in the community. I have a kind, caring and patient nature which has been well observed over the years in my work. I have always enjoyed my work in the care industry and have found great satisfaction in my day to day practice, in the care enviroment. Hello, I am 21yrs old girl. I have quite a lot of experience with taking care of people. Firstly I have been taking care of my grandparents. My grandpa had a hip joint surgery operation and as he is almost 90yrs old recuperation process was not easy. I have spent with them almost 2 months encouraging him to exercise, waking up from bed or even starting drinking water (not mention eating). I was also helping him with shower and toilet. Just after a couple of days he started returning to alive and after a week he was eager to walk with walking frame. At that time my grandma was after stroke attack (2nd one) so it was even more difficult task. My grandma has a lot of health problems with high blood pressure, cholesterol or thyroid. She reduced medicines and changed diet. Now I take care of a young lady after brain injury (epilepsy, short memory). | have also a lot of experience with children and pets. ...
