Hi, my name is Rose, I'm 60 years young and live in the Torbay area of Devon. Non smoker and a car driver. I'm looking to become a relief carer. I have over 20years experience in the caring/enabling industry. I started doing domacilery care for an agency when I went back to work having had my children. I have worked in a team of 3 giving 24 hour personal care to a gentleman who had MND. Supporting both him and his family until he passed away. I have experience working in the community giving respite care to carers and their families. I enjoy enabling and caring for people in their own homes allowing them to stay at home and enabling them to keep their independence. I love my family, and being a grandparent especially. I'm 42. I'm from Hungary, I live in Bracknell (UK). I had been working in an elderly care home for more than two years as a kitchen porter, however I had very good relationship with the old people who lived there., and occasionally I helped the nurses. My step father had dementia, I, was helping my mother to care for him. I have a compassionate heart, especially for disabled people, I helped disabled people from time to time (patronising a family who had a little boy with a very serious condition, helping a blind man with my son in his home works, helping an old lady on a wheelchair to get to the church from time to time...).
