I spent 6 years looking after a frail friend (live in) from 2004 to 2010 when he died. I was responsible for getting him up and to bed, feeding and clothing, personal hygiene, arranging doctors/hospital visits, medication and keeping him happy and motivated to live through a long term illness (liver failure).
