I am Karen. I am 55 years old, a very qualified senior carer, kind, thoughtful and caring. I have 16 years experience caring for the elderly, with various illnesses. I have gained NVQ' S Level 2 & 3 also The care Certificate recently while working in Live In Care. I have also cared for my own mother who sadly had dementia. So lots of personal and professional Experience, and I understand on a personal level how difficult it can be with a loved one with this type of illness. I have also in my professional life looked after people with all different illnesses. I believe that live in care is a personal more rewarding role as you have the time to, build trust, friendship and companionship with your client, and for them to live in there own home in familiar surroundings. ...
