We are a Romanian couple. 35 &37 years old. At the moment we are in England (Gosport) working as live in carers from june of this year. Before this we've worked in Italy for 14 years, as live in care, domestic care, housekeepers.We have all documents to live and work in England, we speak a good english language,and we have italian driving licenses. RMN just revalidated, working in a private nursing home in the dementia unit, looking to change direction and do live in care, as I want to care, hands on and not manage, as I do at the moment. I have retired once front the NHS, and this time need to work where I feel I can really make difference, which the one to one care. It appears now that it's almost impossible to do this as a trained nurse. At the age of 59, I want to return to why I went into care. All my mandatory trainings are in date and I am fit with no health problems. I am looking for shorter term live in jobs, 1 - 3 weeks, so am hoping that this will be acceptable.
