I have experience of working with different types of people. I have worked in the EMI unit before, I have got experience of looking after the elderly. I worked in the General ward were I was looking after people with different kinds of illness and looking after the elderly. I worked in an infection control ward, orthopaedic ward, theatres, respiratory ward, district nursing and stroke unit. I used to do this kind of work when I was young, (living in London) I'm a good cook, I'm considerate and like to help people, so I would like to get back into this type of caring work. I have been a Carer since 2009 and a live-in Carer since 2010. I am originally from South Africa but have been living in England since 2000. I qualified as a pharmacy technician in South Africa and since arriving in the UK spent 7 years working as a medical PA/secretary to doctors and consultants in the NHS and private hospitals in London. I enjoy my work and am efficient, compassionate, willing and able. I will only accept companionship care. I do not do manual handling, hoisting etc. Minimal personal care. I have my own car, UK drivers licence, own personal liability insurance. I am current with my DBS and on the update service. I have all compulsory update training just completed in December 2018.
